The Cisco RV110W Wireless-N VPN Firewall router for small businesses
(Credit:Dong Ngo/CNET)
Generally, getting a VPN for your business that allows remote users to access the local network via the Internet as though they were physically at the office means you’d need a real server or a relatively expensive VPN router. It doesn’t have to be that way anymore with the RV110W Wireless-N VPN Firewall that Cisco announced today.
This is a router designed specifically for small businesses of five employees or fewer. Its built-in PPTP VPN server is limited to supporting up to five concurrent remote users. the good news is that the router is very easy to use and it takes just a few clicks to get the VPN server up. Nonetheless, as expected, you’d need to be quite comfortable with networking to set up the VPN clients.
In addition to the built-in VPN server, the Cisco RV110W offers a comprehensive firewall and an advanced Quality of Service feature. All this is managed via a well-organized, easy-to-use Web interface.
The router has quite a few shortcomings, however, as it lacks support for Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band wireless. On top of that, its single-band 2.4GHz Wireless-N can support only up to 32 clients at a time. the router does offer guest networking, however, enabling a business to create separate Internet-only wireless networks for guests. It’s also one of the few routers that are IPv6-ready, which is a good feature for a business since we’re moving on from the old IPv4, as it is running out of addresses.
The new router is available today at an estimated price of less than $115. For more information, check out the full review of the Cisco RV110W Wireless-N VPN Firewall router.

If I put the right music to it, you would probably get goosebumps from me sitting at the table stuffing my face with mold. However, you have to think with your brain and not your emotions. Republicans are so impressed with emotional issues. They can sway opinion with patriotic bs while turning attention away from the real issues and answers.
Actually you are 100% wrong. Government subsidies and grants (public money) only fund around 1/3 of the research and development in the US. The rest is private investemnt and capital; insurance corporations, private universities, research institutions, teaching hospitals etc yes they receive monetary incentives from the gov however most of the money and assets are private. the private system needs to stay and public plans need to become more efficient and cost effective

There is absolutely nothing in the U.S. Constitution that allows the federal government to regulate education or health-care. Such authority only exists in the minds of our power-hungry politicians, both Dimmocrap and Repooplican. IF any such authority exists, it belongs to each individual state, NOT the feds.
As far as "fixing" the problem with the rising costs of health-care, the first step should be reining in the costs that all doctors and health-care facilities must expend for malpractice insurance by revising the laws governing law suits which allow ridiculous awards for plaintiffs, which must be passed down by health-care providers to patients and private insurance companies. When has the government ever "fixed" anything? Whatever they touch and get involved in always ends up in the crapper!
Did you realize that with the "projected cost" (and I'm sure that it is an extremely LOW estimate and will cost far more than the politicians will admit), we could fight the Iraqi war, at it's PEAK level of commitment, for over 150 YEARS? And the dimmocraps complained about the cost of the war … Obimbo in particular!
What most of us really want to know is the annual rate of GDP growth since Obama’s policies were implemented, and how that compares to the previous administration. To arrive at the answer, one must first measure the annual rate of GDP growth from the time Obama took ownership of the economy, and then compare this to the previous rate.
does it work well?

ConsumersUnion: The Strong family shows how the Affordable Care Act provides major relief for American families:
VPN – Virtual Private Network – The purpose VPN is to encrypt network communication from the client to the VPN server. The advantage of this is greatest when the client is far away from the server that has their home directory, email, printer, etc. The problem is that usually you need to enter passwords to gain access to these items.
If you are at work, connected to the local network, there is little chance that someone could be capturing your network traffic in order to gain access to your password, credit card numbers, etc ( I guess that depends on where you work, though).
If you are at home, at a hotel, in a coffee shop, then your keystrokes need to travel a long way to get to their destination, and there could easily be someone "listening in" somewhere along the way, and capturing your keystrokes.
With VPN, once your connect to your VPN server, all communication from your computer to the VPN server is encrypted. If there is someone "listening in", they could still capture the data stream, but it would be encrypted, so they would never be able to decipher passwords, credit cards, etc.
Another way to think of it is like this – when you are online, say purchasing something, or checking bank/credit card balances, you will always (hopefully) be directed to an web site. Once you are connected to the site, all your communication to and from this web site is encrypted, and while it could be intercepted, it could not be converted back into text.
A VPN server creates this connection for all your communication from your PC to the VPN server, giving you a hight level of protection from snoopers. Hope this helps.

Insurance companies were offering cuts and brusies plans and fraudulently selling them as "insurance". Now the affordable care act says that insurance has to actually be insurance. And now they can't do their scam so they end the plans.
Joe R is in fact right. Now companies who tell their employees they have health insuranc ewhen they have nothing resembling health insurance can no longer lie to them and misrepresent so they have to "drop their plans", which weren't plans by any standard to begin with.
